Create a miniature desert landscape in this hands-on terrarium workshop at Afton Oak Studio. You’ll design and plant your own succulent arrangement inside a glass bubble bowl, then personalize it with natural textures and miniature details to make it completely your own.
Each participant will receive:
One 10-inch glass bubble bowl
Three 2-inch succulents
Gravel and succulent planting mix
A selection of decorative materials and accessories to create your miniature landscape
Take-home care instructions for keeping your succulents healthy
I’ll guide you step by step through building your terrarium, from creating the base layers and arranging your plants to securing everything in place. Once your succulents are planted, you’ll have time to experiment with the décor bar and add your own finishing touches.
Choose stones, shells, natural accents, and small decorative pieces to create a scene that feels like you. Whether that’s a modern desert garden, a tiny woodland world, a coastal-inspired landscape, or something a little more whimsical.
No experience is needed. Come ready to get creative, make something beautiful, and leave with a living piece of décor for your home.
